Meet My Dragons

In general, if Jason ever had thought about meeting a dragon, he would have been a heroic figure. He really did not believe in dragons, no one did. After all, weren’t they mythical monsters who could destroy cities and tended to eat someone his size? Anyway, you can imagine his embarrassment, as he backed out of the cabin, tripping as he turned to fall flat on his face.

 

As he let out a groan, he thought “Did I hear something?” He did. It took a couple of seconds to look up into the open jaws of a giant creature whose mouth was now six inches from Jason’s face. It was the dragon’s saliva that he heard. Jason, not unreasonably, plopped his face back into the dirt. What happened next was disputed afterwards. Jason swears that the dragon rolled on her back, huffing her laughter in a most undignified way.
