John Doyal's Biography

When five years old, my dreams were movies that my mind created. Between these movies, I would have cartoons.
When I was living in an apartment while going to Michigan State, I had a roommate who had the biggest collection of science fiction that I had ever seen. One of his hobbies was to load me down with a plethora of books. As he saw the ones that I liked the best, he eliminated my free time by loading me up with more great books. I still remember some of the Zelazny books.
That is how I became a critic of TV. That show would have been great if only he had done this or that. I was always dreaming up stories. But it took my cat to make me a writer. He was ill and felt that waking me up at 3 in the morning was a good thing. As long as I was awake, I might as well write.
So, if you ever wonder why someone with an engineering degree and an MBA in finance would write about dragons, blame it on Boochie.
